- Wear crap clothes or get top-naked
- Using Oven Pride cleaner, tip some into the skillet.
- Put the pan into the bag
- Using the gloves provided, or sandwich bags, cover the skillet in the cleaner.
- Close the bag, leave for 24h
- Using gloves, take the pan out, rinse it under the tap
- If all the black is gone, you're done, otherwise scrub the black a little, then put more cleaner on the black bits, then back in the bag, another 24h
- Take out and rinse the pan.
- If there's rust, soak it in hot vinegar water for a half hour, then scrub with steel wool
- Dry immediately
- Oven cook gas mark 1 for 15 minutes, then gas mark 9 for 45 minutes
- Rub olive oil into the pan all over, it should turn dark brown, and be wet but not pooling
- Back into the oven for 30 minutes
- Take it out, more oil
- Back into the oven for 30 minutes
- Leave to cool
