Parsnips
5 chunks per parsnip if large, 3 if small
Into 1 litre boiling water:
Try 1 tsp baking soda
1.5 tsp salt
Parsnips in and simmer until outside soft and cooked through
Cool on wire rack
Cornstarch all over
Preheat oil roasting tin 190C 10 mins
Place parsnips in, then flip
Salt
Roast until done, flip halfway, 45 mins total
Potatoes
Vivaldi or Roosters Roasters or Maris Piper
