Put in each bowl:
- Fancy little pot of (low salt if poss) gel/liquid stock/bouillon (e.g. Knorr chicken/veg)
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp meat fat, if it's around
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup boiling water, mix with other ingredients
- When above ingredients mixed and cooled, add precooked ramen noodles (or other types, just remember they won't cook much in the bowl, so prep)
Stir fry, whatever you like e.g.
- Button mushrooms
- broccoli stalk
- carrots
- pak choi
- Etc
Extras, optional
- Spinach
- Toasted sesame seeds or peanuts or sesame oil
- Pickled red onion, or cabbage, or pickles, or kimchi
- fried egg, or fancy prepared coddled egg (6 mins then ice water, option soak in Morin/soy for 4-12 hours)
- Roast sweet potato, leftover chicken, crispy pork belly, chicken Kiev, pork chashu
- Corn on the cob, in 2cm slices
Steps:
Put the "put in each bowl" ingredients in each bowl to serve (ramen bowl, between cereal and pasta in size),
Stir fry veg you've chosen, then split across bowls
Prepare/cook/slice any extras you're using, and put to one side.
Pour boiling water from the kettle into each bowl.
Put extras on top
Serve and eat quickly, may want soy sauce or chilli oil to taste at the table
